2006 Maxum 2600SE Overview
The 2006 Maxum 2600SE with the Mercruiser 350 MAG on outdrive is a capable, comfortable pocket cruiser. These boats are great for weekend trips or day cruising with some nice liveability packed into 27 feet.
Accommodation Highlights:
- Dinette V-berth: Versatile space—doubles as a lounge/dining area by day and converts to a sleeping area at night.
- Galley to port: The hinged work surface is a smart space-saver—makes food prep easy without cluttering the area.
- Heads to starboard: Having a separate head compartment (not a wet head crammed in) is a big plus for comfort.
- Aft berth under the cockpit: Nice for a second couple or kids—often a cozy sleeping area that’s more spacious than it first appears.
- Headroom: Always appreciated on a 27-footer. Makes longer stays aboard much more comfortable.

Engine Details
Mercruiser 350 MAG (300 HP) paired with a Bravo III outdrive gives you a good balance of power and efficiency—plenty for cruising in the mid-30s (mph), and quick onto plane. That setup is also known for relatively smooth handling and decent fuel economy, especially if well-maintained.
